This is my first blog. I never thought I would have a blog spot although I did enjoy reading updates from my cousin Maele Unga-Vaitai and her family, some from Peace Corp volunteers who are stationed in Tonga and now that Star started one, she's been buggin' for me to jump on the band wagon.
I told Star that I had absolutely nothing to talk about without making myself sound like a LOSER! LoL! Should I talk about the intoxicated weekend I had? Or how my car keys went missing for 24 hrs and I blamed it on the kids? (which ended up being in the blanket on my bed!) Or how I spent the whole 8 hours of work yesterday watching old clips of my fav GH couple
*Sonny & Brenda* on YouTube?!? ~and may I add...becoming an emotional wreck while watching those clips! So Beautiful!~ The answer is D....NONE OF THE ABOVE!
A PICTURE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS...
But in this case....just keep your words to yourself! LMAO! This picture had to be taken around '96 or '97 only guessing from Chicc's tindrils down her forehead, Neni's top, Star's half straightened hair and my Super Crip attire. Not to mention the kemoz for daaayyyyzzz! But I still love my sistahz! This picture was taken @ 10428 Autumn Breeze Way! I MISS THAT HOUSE! My Auntie Lani & Uncle Benny lived in Rancho Cordova years ago with their children. That was our home away from home and we made some of the best memories there! We would spend weekends, summers, any chance we had to make it up there. It's the little things you remember and cherish, like how we used to have swimming aerobics @ Bishops Court, picking Gardenias at the Franklin buildings for leis, never bothering Uncle Benny in the evening when he sits in the garage with a case of beer, White Rock pool, riding in the back of Moana's station wagon, 1st time @ a bar on the army base, watching Star and her palangi friends get ready every Fri & Sat night to go to the skating rink, walking to Sonny's Market, running in the sprinklers @ Cordova Villa, bike riding along the American River, etc. My Unga Girls had some of the best times there, and now that's all it is...just a memory. We spent our last weekend in that house back in 2001 before they sold the house and I believe I drove passed it back in '03 but I will always adore my fond memories of the house off Mather Field!
